Or, why there’s no picture of my new pair of socks today. Apparently I also need to clean the gutters.

Rain! Absolutely beautiful (especially when one lives in the desert), but also absolutely incompatible with photography. I’ll try to wait patiently for the photos : )

Funny. I just had the same problem. My brother bailed me out however, and, as a result, I have a dry basement today. I wish you the same!

What a perfect “stay in and knit in your pj’s, watching old movies and sipping cocoa” day!

It’s been insane, hasn’t it? But so cozy-making, as long as a person doesn’t have to go outside. We played Trivial Pursuit, drank wine and ate pie. 🙂

I know how you feel. I’m up in Vancouver (the Canadian one) and I’m pretty sure it’s rained for at least a portion of every day for the past two weeks. I’m tired of rain now, but there is no end in sight.

I love the rain, though it sometimes is a bit less fun to sit and hear it pounding against the skylight.

We’re not having rain near Boston. Just a critical rain of leaves. Our yard is full of them!
